The Farmer

This morning I had a visceral vision that can only be interpreted as a great encouragement to Jesus’ Bride, the Church.
I saw from the eyes of the farmer who was sitting in his tractor looking behind him. The scene was idyllic. The sun was topping the hill over the farmer’s field that had been prepared for growth. It was the end of the day. The planting, soil preparation, and tilling the ground- everything was finished. The farmer was at rest, at peace, just taking in the beauty of what was about to happen.
After this heartfelt vision, I “pressed in to the Lord” as I’ve heard many people say. My mind wanted to elaborate on Mark 4- the thirty, sixty, and hundredfold harvest. However my spirit couldn’t do it. The vision was filled with such glory, it was so ripe, it had such surreal PEACE, there’s nothing that I would want to detract from that. The farmer had peace and excitement but the excitement was deep. The work had been long. The preparation was hard. Yet here he sat looking, knowing that all the work would bring forth a divine harvest.
The only word I would want to bring to Believers from this vision is ‘peace’. There is a peace in God that is drenched with such glory it is cry-laughing, happy peace. There is no worry or fear. It is simply a calm, giddy, ecstatic, inner-bliss.
The harvest that is coming NOTHING can stop. I sensed the tilling was deep by this farmer. It’s almost like he went overboard preparing every jot and tiddle of soil that nothing could come against his field. It was prepared in every way for an unprecedented harvest.
For many, there have been hard times the last several years. I want to impart peace to you today. GOD WILL restore everything the locust has eaten. GOD WILL bring His Word to pass. What I am particularly looking forward to is God’s peace. It sounds so simple but it is so fun! Yes billions are going to come to Jesus soon! But YOU who are reading this, God is going to restore, revive the things you forgot or thought were dead, and give you shalom peace. I hear the Lord speaking “Your redemption is at hand.”
Amen. Amen. It’s about to get really good.
I’d also like to point out God is not old. I was looking through Father God’s eyes on this tractor. I’ve seen Father God another time and he has shorter, almost curly hair. He is very tall and big. The closest image I can relay is Paul Bunyan. Jesus has longer hair than God. God loves to be close to you. He had me by His head showing me this scene.
